The ScentedSouq will be releasing their new greatly anticipated fragrances, in the next
few months! Coming in just before the
holiday period, this would mean that they will be up for grabs just before Christmas!
There will
be an addition of four new fragrances to grace the world with, one of them
being The Sahara, a wonderfully beautiful fragrance set to be released this coming
week. This fragrance brings back that nostalgic
feeling of the hot desert, with the sun beaming brightly whilst the notes of spices
are being carried in the air towards you from the woman preparing her mildly
spiced tea some miles away down behind the desert dunes. The honey and jasmine intermingle so wonderfully
intertwined together, with a rare dash of greenery in the desert coming in from
the vetiver, oakmoss and sage. The
saffron does not make an obvious show, but performs wonderfully providing lift
and boldness in the background being the supporting actor to the main actors of
Taif rose, amber and the delicately crispy musk. The desperate need of quenching our thirst
hits us in the heat of The Sahara, with the cedarwood showing a brief display
with freshness to cool us down, alongside the appearances of the aphrodisiac-y
ylang ylang, before settling down on the earthy patchouli.
All the
other fragrance oils that are set to be released are currently having their
names under wraps! But watch this space
to keep updated with those new releases!
The Sahara will be accompanied by the current bestselling fragrance oil,
The Scent of Heaven, which was its original name before become Mukhallat
Taifi, but now referred back to its original name due to demand! The Scent of Heaven is a very authentic take
on the traditional Arabian Attar. Those
are the notes that we smell in the air surrounding the mosques during Eid prayers,
and the notes that we smell when hustling through the many narrow lanes and the
souqs of Arabia – it is the fragrance that will take you back to that
place, it is the fragrance that will make you feel nostalgic and will seem familiar,
just like our souls yearn of the familiar scent of heaven. It is available here.
